Sodington Hall and Winwoods
SHOOT
Sodington Hall Estate is situated in pretty countyside on the border of Worcestershire and Shropshire, less than one hour West of Birmingham. Winwoods Shoot, just a short drive from Sodington Hall and often shot alongside, is situated on the edge of the ancient and magnificent Wyre Forest, the largest woodland National Nature Reserve in the country.
Bag sizes: 150 – 400 Pheasant, Partridge, Duck.
Multi-day shoot programmes available enabling guns to enjoy our other estates.
Topography
Sodington Hall incorporates established woodlands, and open rolling fields.
Winwoods is situated on steep wooded banks within established woodland.
Itinerary and Hospitality
Shoot days start with a full english breakfast at a hopitality venue followed by a shoot talk and drawing of pegs.
During the breaks in the field our friendly host staff will serve traditional “Gin and Fizz” along with hot and cold drinks and elevenses.
A shelter is used for breaks in wet weather as well as a fire pit on colder days.
The day will end with hot food at our hospitality venue.
Non shooting guests are made to feel welcome and can accompany you throughout the day.
